The Rewards Pool: where the money comes from, how it is split and where it goes.
#No printing
The game never mints new tokens. Every reward comes from the Rewards Pool, a public balance that pays out 1/30 of itself per day (1/15 during the first 14 days). It can't run dry and it adjusts to activity by itself.
#Where the pool comes from
- The bonus share (40%) of everything the treasury receives: launchpad trading fees, NFT mint revenue (released in 12 weekly steps) and royalties.
- 60% of in-game spending (seeds, item materials, market fees). The other 40% is burned.
10% of the pool's daily payout is set aside for the season pot (see Seasons & Ranking).
Treasury income arrives in USDG dollar. A programmed buyer, with a daily cap and randomized order times and sizes, converts the pool's share into $USDG and sends it to the game vault.
#How the pool is split
| Class | Share | Paid by |
|---|---|---|
| Farmers | 1/3 | kg delivered |
| Producers | 1/3 | cost of items sold (catnip excluded), split between Lab and Arsenal by the number of active factories in each line |
| Police | 1/3 | kg seized as evidence |
Every class gets the same share, so the scarcer the class, the more each NFT earns from the pool: per NFT, a Producer earns 1.43× and a cop 3.33× what a Farmer earns. Farmers also earn by selling catnip on the free market, and Producers by selling items.
Safety switch: if Common Farmers earn too little for two weeks in a row, the split moves to 40/30/30 (Farmers/Producers/Police), announced publicly with the usual 24–48 hour timelock.
#Prices without oracles
Seeds, items and materials are priced in $USDG and reviewed weekly by an internal index: the value of a kg (tokens paid by the pool per kg delivered). The game never reads a market price, so there is no oracle to manipulate, and a pump or a dump of $USDG doesn't break the balance between classes — everyone's earnings and costs move together.
#Fees and sinks
| Sink | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Seeds and item materials | 60% pool · 40% burn |
| Item Market fee (5%) | 60% pool · 40% burn |
| Withdrawal fee (5%) | Burned |
| Bribes | 80% cop · 20% burn |
| Catnip Swap ($USDG → catnip) | 50% burn · 50% season pot |
| Treasury buyback (40% of treasury income) | Buys $USDG and burns it |
| Catnip consumed by cops, factories and the Bonfire | Leaves the game |
#Stress-tested
Before launch, the economy was simulated with all 7,777 NFTs over 90 days: falling meme volume, an 80% price drop, a 5x pump, volatile prices, low activity and half of the holders not playing. In every scenario, cops out-earned Farmers in every rarity, Good and Bad Cops stayed balanced, and Lab and Arsenal stayed balanced. It was re-run with the current parameters (3.5% fee, mint at 5 / 10 USDG dollar, $30,000 development cap, burns and seasons): the balance tests passed in every scenario, and the treasury buyback is by far the largest burn, around 90% of everything burned. The simulation will be re-run again before the game opens.
